Popular tranime genres include, but are not limited to:
- Moe: Usuually oversimplified depictions of characters with huge eyes and thus making them "cute". Became a staple of imageboard culture.
- Slice of Life: Usually boring calmstone where nothing happens. Most beloved by Oldfags, nostalgiafags, and people with insomnia. Particularly obsessed over by braniggers who say shit like "this is what life would be like without jews" despite the fact you can live like this if you actually lock in and move outside the city and touch grass, and also despite the fact most of them are Indians or Mexicans or some other breed of swarthoid. Slice of Life however can be gemmy if done well, but that's rarely ever the case.
- Fantasy: Fantasy, nerd shit like knights, fairies, dragons, magic, swords, etc. Usually in medieval settings and always involves a religious, political or race war. Includes many isekai.
- Isekai: Normal people being magically sent to another world, often being given some kind of superpower along with it. Often these animes are about losers ending in a fantasy world and having a harem full of teenagers lusting over him for no fucking reason.
- Shounen AKA Manime: Large buff macho dudes fighting each other. Most beloved by spics, third-worlders, and guidos.
- Romance: A boy and a girl (sometimes faggy doebeit) falling in love in an extremely cheesy plot commonly involving "forbidden love". The gemmy ones usually are the ones where the protagonists actually love each other and dont just wait to hold hands at the last minute. The brimstone ones are the yaoi, yuri, bully becomes lover or some other retarded jap fetish involving masochism.
- Pedobait: Self explanatory
- Mecha: A genre featuring robots fighting each other. The best kind of manime to ever exist, thougheverbeit it usually follows a schizo pipeline.
- Erotica: (You)r favorite genre, faggot.[it just is, ok?]
- Drama: Especially if it looks wholesome on the outside but it's actually dark and depressing or something. This genre can upset because suddenly the anime becomes 'o for 5 minutes after some character gets mad and goes from chibi slice of life segments to levels of graphic violence comparable to Chicken Factory (See Higurashi).
