Capcode
A capcode is a badge shown next to a staff member's post on 2swagg that marks it as an official post in a given role, for example Taro ## Developer.
Badge tiers
Six tiers exist, based on the icon files in the site's public image library:

Only Founder and Developer are tied to named people through official channels (SomeBois in the FAQ and changelog, Taro via the changelog and the site's security.txt). The rest are role labels. A handle "Swaggbois" has also been seen posting with a ## Swaggmin capcode, which does not match the six standard tiers.
The badge is not a hard cap on access. Taro carries the Developer badge but has effectively unrestricted access; the limits there are by choice, not by permission. See Taro#Role and authority.
