Textboards

The textboards are a set of text-only boards on 2swagg, separate from the main imageboards. There is no image posting on them, and they run on different underlying software than the rest of the site.

There are three, all launched on 21 August 2026:

• /td/ — Thunderdome
• /tech/ — Technology
• /ani/ — Anime

SomeBois announced them with: "I added new textboards! >>>/td/ >>>/tech/ >>>/ani/ this is my world2swagg"

Textboards are their own small tradition in imageboard culture, valued for being lightweight and discussion-focused, with no images to derail a thread. Japanese textboards (like the boards on 2channel) are the model.
