Rules

The site's own framing of itself, from that page: "2swagg is an off-color, absurd-humor, spamming and raiding website for creating, posting, and sharing content across a variety of boards."
The rules are split into major and minor violations.
Major violations[edit | edit source]
Broadly, the site prohibits:
- pedophilic content or "jokes"
- advertising competing Discord servers, Telegram channels, or crypto projects (this category is called out for a harsher penalty than other advertising)
- promoting animal abuse or bestiality
- content designed to crash or slow down other users' browsers
- suicide announcements, encouraging self-harm, or pressuring anyone to change their sexual identity against their will
- credible threats or promotion of real-world violence or terrorism
- attempting to get the site taken down
- automated (bot) posting
- graphic content or gore
Minor violations[edit | edit source]
- posting off-topic for the board (the catch-all for off-topic content is /swag/)
- spamming false moderation reports
- replying to rule-breaking posts instead of reporting them
"SomeBois Guide for New Users"[edit | edit source]
The rules page also carries a satirical "SomeBois Guide for New Users" that jokingly tells newcomers to "bully" various kinds of poster. It is house humor sitting next to the real rules for contrast, not policy.

How the rules have changed[edit | edit source]
The rules were substantially loosened in the site's first two weeks: a blanket porn ban (old Rule 13) and a camgirl/orbiter rule were both dropped, and the anti-advertising rule was narrowed. Full detail on Site history#Rules and policy evolution.
