FAQ and glossary
This page collects terminology and frequently asked questions for 2swagg, drawn from the site's own FAQ as of 31 August 2026. General imageboard terms are included for readers new to the format.
Accounts
2swagg has no account system for ordinary use. The site's FAQ puts it: "Imageboards dont have account systems ... unless you have a 2swagg pass account, or you're a janny." In other words, the only credentialed users are paid 2swagg Pass holders and staff. Everyone else posts anonymously.
Tripcodes
A tripcode is a way to prove you are the same anonymous poster across posts, without an account. You type your name followed by a password in the form Name#password; the site turns the password into a short code shown after your name.

#tripcode uses the classic algorithm that is shared across most imageboards. - A double-
##secure tripcode is specific to 2swagg — the same password produces a different code here than on another site.
Using a name or tripcode at all is optional and, per site culture, often mocked ("namefag", "tripfag").
Post and thread terms

| OP | The original post that starts a thread, or the person who made it. |
| bump | A reply that moves a thread back to the top of the board. |
| sage | Replying without bumping. From Japanese sageru, "to lower". Entered in the email field. |
| noko / nonoko | "noko" keeps you in the thread after you post; "nonoko" sends you back to the board index. |
| sticky | A thread pinned to the top of a board by staff. |
| GET | A post whose number has a notable repeating-digit pattern. The FAQ says such a post "should be checked." |
| checkem | Calling attention to your own (or someone's) post number in hope of a GET. The FAQ answer is a joke: "Only newfags dont know how to checkem :)" |
