Site culture

2swagg calls itself "an off-color, absurd-humor, spamming and raiding website," and it means it. The crude tone is not an accident or a moderation failure, it is the point of the place. This page is the hub for how that plays out.

The mascot

• Swaggtan, the site's pink anime-girl mascot, on the banners and the 404 page, drawn by the mod Slashstabslice.

Running gags built into the site

• Homepage taglines, a random one-liner on the front page, new one every reload, ranging from silly to deliberately offensive.
• Nameroll, posts can get a random joke name instead of "Anonymous" (Toshiaki, Swagglet, Opsec Demon, and so on).
• Fortunes, put fortune in the email field for a random cookie-fortune line, which the pool then escalates well past cookie-fortune territory.
• Several board titles and subtitles are crude or self-mocking on purpose ("Pony Faggotry", "VEGETA", "BASEDpapers").
• /r/ is a board whose entire bit is being an obvious honeypot that tells you not to post in it.

Post toys

Small features you trigger while posting:

• Emotes, 38 :shortcode: images.
• Kaotype, type ;smug and similar for an auto-expanding kaomoji.
• Checkem, the DUBS / TRIPS / QUADS / ULTRA GET tier system for notable post numbers.
• Flags, a per-board flag icon. /mlp/ has its own ~300 pony flags; a few other boards share a small deliberately edgy set.

The "guide"

• SomeBois Guide for New Users, a satirical section on the rules page telling newcomers who to "bully." A joke, not policy, but a deliberate part of the site's self-presentation.

Rivalries

• Rivalries, constant banter with other small imageboards, especially on /swag/ and /raid/.

Imageboard vocabulary

The usual terms apply here and are used the same way: "newfag", "namefag", "tripfag", "anon", greentext, sage / bump / GET. See FAQ and glossary and Tripcodes.

Old content

• Thread archive, dead threads get listed at each board's /archive.html with an excerpt, so they stay readable after they drop off the board.
